Meet Dr. Andrew J. Leder

PERIODONTIST

Dr. Andrew J. Leder is a periodontist at Gramercy Dental Center. Dr. Leder takes a great amount of pride and satisfaction in helping his New York City patients to prevent disease and improve the state of their oral health. Dr. Leder has been highly trained to provide his patients with the most current, innovative surgical and non-surgical techniques that modern dentistry has to offer.

Dr. Leder completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Albany and was admitted into the Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society in 1987. He then completed dental school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While at Stony Brook, Dr. Leder won the John Oppie McCall Award, which recognizes individuals demonstrating exemplary dedication and proficiency in periodontology. He then went on to complete his specialty training and received his Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey State.

Dr. Leder maintains membership with several professional organizations, providing him with opportunities for continuing education, including the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Northeast Society of Periodontists, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and American Society of Osseointegration.

Meet Dr. Kiran Toor

GENERAL DENTIST

Dr. Kiran Toor is a Fairfax, Virginia native and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University. Her academic and professional interests brought her to New York City where she has continued to advance her education and provide her patients with the highest quality and personalized dental care.

Dr. Toor is passionate about cosmetic dentistry and is devoted to delivering exceptional care while empowering and educating her patients on the importance of oral health. She takes pride in treating her patients like family while crafting beautiful smiles tailored to each patient’s needs.

In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Toor enjoys traveling, unwinding with a book at one of her favorite coffee shops, and discovering the best restaurants in the city.

Dr. Saavan Patel

GENERAL DENTIST

Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, graduating with a degree in biology and concentration in neuroscience. He received his doctorate degree from New York University College of Dentistry after which he continued his education at Stony Brook Hospital’s General Practice Residency program. During his time in residency, Dr. Patel received advanced training in restorative dentistry, oral surgery and in the treatment of patients with developmental disabilities and dental phobia.

Dr. Patel’s personal fears of the dentist growing up have been a constant inspiration for his pursuit in delivering comprehensive and painless dental care with a strong emphasis on the prevention of future disease. He understands that dentistry is a constantly evolving field and makes sure he stays current with the advancements through continuing education courses and seminars.

In his free time Dr. Patel enjoys biking in the summer, skiing in the winter and traveling any chance he gets.

Meet Dana Kapparova

GENERAL DENTIST

Dr. Dana Kapparova is dedicated to her patient’s smiles. Her passion for dentistry was her driving factor through her education at New York University. After graduating in 2008, she began practicing dentistry in Greenwich, CT. She took her education and experience back to New York in 2011.

She has extensive experience in all dental procedures including preventive and restorative dental care, direct/indirect gold, composite and ceramic restorations, CAD/CAM, fixed and removable prosthetics, including crowns, veneers, post/core, inlays and onlays, implant placement and restoration, soft tissue management, crown lengthening, implant-supported mandibular overdentures, molar endo, simple and surgical extractions, impactions, Invisalign.

Dr. Kapparova is well accomplished, not just for her skill, but for her compassion and gentle attitude toward her patients’. In her free time, Dr. Kapparova loves to play piano and spend time with friends and family.
